EDUCATIONAL / COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

As one of the pioneers of contemporary dance in Australia and the founder of Australian Dance Theatre Elizabeth and the artists of Mirramu Dance Company believe in the importance of preserving a living Australian dance history. Part of the company's repertoire includes some classic contemporary dance works, including some historical works from the early Australian Dance Theatre repertoire (1965 - 1975).
Mirramu Dance Company has devised a program for secondary & tertiary institutions. The Company works with each school or university to devise the program that best suits their curriculum.

DANCE ALL DAY - Primary & High Schools.
This program offers activities such as performances followed by discussion and question time and dance/ movement games sessions. The Company can be resident at the school for the whole day or part thereof and can devise dance and dance making sessions that relate to the school curriculum/themes.
